Brunel Road Timber are a timber merchants that can provide for all your timber needs. This ranges from treated and untreated timber, specialist sheet materials, plywood, MDF, joinery quality timber, PSE's, mouldings in softwood and primed MDF, sheds, hardwood flooring, as well as a roof truss design service and staircases manufactured to order. 

Owner John Western originally opened a branch in Tiverton in November 2004 but then expanded to Newton Abbot in January 2005 with Brunel Road Timber. They are both reasonably new businesses and are now going from strength to strength working together. John had been in the timber trade since he left school and felt it was time for him to go into business for himself. He prides himself on running an independent timber merchants offering superior quality and service to their customers. 

Both the businesses started with three members of staff but from conception this has now doubled, with managers, drivers and sales staff at each branch. Two members of staff have been trained and are now qualified timber graders. Both of the locations are on industrial estates set just outside of town. This makes it very easy for deliveries and collections as well as free parking. All staff are up to date with the timber industry and are happy to give advice where needed.

Brunel Road Timber are open from 08.00 in the morning until 5.00, and are open on Saturday mornings 08.00 to 12.00.
